Hello

A MESSAGE FROM CATHERINE

I’m Catherine Forsyth, founder of Mindfit Yorkshire and a Workplace Mental Health Specialist. With over 30 years of nursing experience, including 25 years as a dual-registered nurse in Mental Health and Learning Disability — I’ve worked across both the NHS and private sector in roles such as staff nurse, ward sister, modern matron, and clinical lead.

I went on to qualify as a Best Interests Assessor and now also practise as a complementary therapist, offering a more holistic and personalised approach to wellbeing.

I work alongside individuals and organisations, supporting them to understand mental health more deeply, strengthen workplace culture, and create environments where people feel seen, valued, and able to thrive.

Mission

SHAPING THE FUTURE

At Mindfit Yorkshire, my mission is to help people and workplaces thrive by making mental health and wellbeing a natural part of everyday life.

I provide 1-to-1 consultations, tailored wellbeing workshops, and strategic mental health planning for individuals and organisations. I also run a monthly community-based relaxation and soundbath session, offering a safe, calming space for people to pause, reset, and reconnect.

I’m preparing to launch a Workplace Wellbeing Advocate Training Programme, designed to give employees the tools, knowledge, and confidence to make a real difference in their workplace.

With over 30 years of experience, I combine clinical expertise with compassionate care, focusing on a preventative, person-centred approach that supports both immediate needs and long-term wellbeing.
